Vitra's Vases Découpage are a series of poetic compositions that look different from every angle: whimsical, ironic, unconventional, lively.
"The arrangements form a fragile balance as contrasting colours and layers converge to yield a new harmony," says Ronan Bouroullec.
The Vases Découpage are a highly unique set of hand-glazed ceramic vases. Designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec the series works as both a set and as individual objects.
Each of the Vases Découpage consists of a cast cylindrical vase, accompanied by abstract slabs and bars made of clay. These sculptural, abstract forms can be attached to, or placed inside the vase.
There are three versions of the Vases Découpage: Barre, Disque and Feuille.
