Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec's Softshell Office Chair boasts a unique construction of flexible ribs, adapting to the user and providing ultimate freedom of movement.

Its seat and backrest are crafted from a fibreglass reinforced polyamide, which is then coated in a polyurethane foam. Its armrests are integrated into the shell, concealed along with the chair's functional elements underneath Vitra's expert upholstery.

The insightful design of the Softshell means that it is a comfortable choice for prolonged periods of sitting at a table or desk, while exuding a warm sense of character through its fluid contours and soft upholstery. Also available in the Softshell Range is the armchair and side chair.
