The soft pads on the seat and backrest require durable double needle topstitching, a time-consuming technique that uses two different sewing machines and a great amount of care. Because of this, the pads remain perfectly in place even after decades of use.

Available to purchase online in a range of premium leathers with a Polished Aluminium or Deep Black Powder-Coated Base. Also available is the EA208 Soft Pad Group Chair, which has the same seat but with a four-star base without castors.

• In the standard version, the reverse side of the seat back is covered in Plano fabric. At an additional cost, the reverse side is optionally available in the corresponding leather.
