First designed for the University of Paris in 1949, the Guéridon Table maintains a modern appearance thanks to Prouvé's architecturally informed design and forward-thinking approach to using solid wood.
The industrial-style steel crossbar connecting the table's legs hearkens back to the Modernist era of the table's conception, a feature that translates seamlessly to modern-day design.
The circular top and table legs are offered in a choice of solid oak with a natural or dark finish, or oiled American walnut. Demonstrating Prouve's clear structural principles, this Vitra table comes in two sizes for versatile use in the kitchen or dining room.
