Combining ultimate comfort with high-quality workmanship, the amply proportioned chair set a new standard at the time of its design in 1956.
Lighter, modern and much more refined than the conventional lounge chairs available at the time, the enduring features of the Eames Lounge Chair continue to delight the design world today.
Manufactured by Vitra, the chair is grounded on a five-star swivel base with a seat and back in moulded plywood. It is listed here in a combination of American Cherry upholstered in Nubia 03 and Black Pigmented Walnut upholstered in Nubia 07. Further wood and fabric variants are available upon request. Price is for both the Chair and Ottoman.
