Vitra's EA108 Eames Aluminium Group Chair is one of the most instantly recognisable and oft-imitated designs of the 20th Century.

This post-war design classic is the innovation of Charles and Ray Eames, who saw the potential in developing a series of chairs where the seat was not merely a cover but an integral part of the design.

Thanks to their generous proportions and resilient sling seat – a panel of leather, fabric or mesh stretched between two aluminium ribs – the chairs are incredibly comfortable, making them a perfect choice for times when you will sit for long periods such as working in studios, workspaces or your home office.
