Originally designed for a competition to furnish the student halls of Cité Universetaire, Jean Prouvé liked the Cité Armchair so much he went on to use it in his living room.
With distinctively angled runners in bent sheet steel that is finished with leather, the chair's frame is designed to fit the human body, and comes equipped with a height adjustable neck cushion. Combined with the Cité Armchair's generous dimensions, it ensures ultimate comfort and relaxation while exemplifying the era of its design.
The seat and backrest are joined by a continuous cover, which is available in a choice of fabric or leather upholstery.
