Husband and wife team Muller Van Severen continue their range of 'furniture sculptures' with a series of Hanging Lamps.

Their furniture designs, while functional, are not far removed from the Belgian duo's roots in visual arts, and the lights have a particularly sculptural appearance. They have been reduced to their simplest technological form yet crafted with a highly deliberate composition.

Combining industrial design with a whimsical colour palette, the Hanging Lamps are made of a singular steel tube, set at varying sharp and rounded angles. The tube can be swivelled from its position on the wall, where it is held with brass brackets, to change the direction of the light source.
