Named for the famous beach of the designer's hometown, the Bondi Chair from Please Wait To Be Seated is defined by its curves.
In designing the chair, Fräg Woodall was inspired by his earliest memories as a craftsman, and pays tribute to timber joinery techniques throughout. Half-lap joints are used to graphically illustrate the chair's construction, resulting in a crisp yet playful expression. With precise angles in solid wood, the Bondi Chair has a comfortable familiarity in its rudimentary forms.
Simple yet full of character, it is equally suited to use in the kitchen, dining room or busy restaurants and cafes.
