Designed by Finnish designer Samuli Naamanka and meticulously crafted by Nikari, the October Light Chair is a modern stackable chair with distinct curves that embrace the seat and back.
The construction features traditional Nordic joinery while the design thoughtfully reduces material. The result is a wooden chair which is both physically and visually lightweight.
Samuli Naamanka shares, “October chair was inspired by the rainy but colourful Finnish autumn. My goal was to design a stackable chair – the October winds have their special effect on the light forms and curves”.
Made of solid ash and moulded birch plywood, the chair is finished in a water-based lacquer.
