Thomas Bentsen's Loft Chair for Muuto is inspired by industrial detailing.

Featuring contrasting materials; the frame is powder-coated steel offset by the soft, tactile bent oak veneer seat and back, specially moulded to embrace the body.

The Loft chair references the design language of 20th-century design classics such as Jean Prouvé's Standard Chair and Friso Kramer's Result Chair. But by softening details and geometry, Bentsen has created a sleek, contemporary alternative.
