With the Muuto Folded Shelf Dutch designer Johan Van Hengel applies his investigative approach to the everyday, inspired by the interplay of layer and shadow.
Utilising a simple laser cut steel sheet, this Muuto shelf is folded in such a way that offers a new approach to storing and securing your items.
Powder-coated for increased durability, the shelf also features two attached hooks for increased functionality. In marrying the concepts of organisation and display, Johan Van Hengel has created a sophisticated object which not only looks good but offers myriad uses.
Available in five muted colours and four different sizes, the Folded Shelf is suited to use in almost any interior space.
- Laser-cut from metal sheets, these shelves go through a folding process. They are then lacquered with an acrylic powder-coating.
