Forcina translates as 'hairpin' in Italian, reflective of the curves in this Mattiazzi chair's steel structure.
Designed by Leon Ransmeier, the Forcina chair was envisaged for use in cafes or restaurants. It recalls design elements of classic furniture of this kind. The considered curves of the frame are achieved using CNC-bending, which means that minimal elements and welding are required, lending the chair its effortless expression. As well as an aesthetic detail, the curvature at the top allows the chair to be easily moved around in an ideal function for its intended purpose.
Also available is the Forcina armchair, table and stool.
Please note this chair must be ordered in multiples of two by request of the manufacturer.
- Dimensions: W.47 x D.56 x H.85.5 cm.
- Seat height: 47.5 cm.
- Available in natural oak, natural ash or black stained ash, with a frame in black lacquered steel.
