Designed by Konstantin Grcic and crafted by Mattiazzi, the MC20 Cugino is a contemporary wooden stool/table with the addition of a coloured linoleum top.
The Cugino features a clever interplay between solid materiality and void to produce a form open to one's interpretation. Konstantin Grcic shares, "Cugino is the result of many tries; it happened over time, with wanting it to be an object that we don't already know, but also something that is maybe a little familiar."
Combining Grcic's background in wood working and Mattiazzi's expert craftsmanship, the wooden stool/table reveals complex wood joinery and fine finishing. Crafted from solid Pine, the Cugino Soft is available with a Forbo Linoleum Desktop seat in a choice of Burgundy, Pistachio, Orange Blast and Powder.
