Working to the simple brief, 'a straightforward chair, with and without arms', Leon Ransmeier created the archetypal Chiaro.
Both visually and physically comfortable in many different environments, the Chiaro chair is made of solid oak or ash wood, CNC-milled to achieve its precise proportions and bringing the piece a sense of tactility.
Using Mattiazzi's sophisticated manufacturing technology, the connections between the chair's elements are direct and uncomplicated, with a unique under-seat structure intended to simplify the joinery and reduce the number of overall parts.
Well-formed and highly functional, the Chiaro chair can be purchased as a side or armchair, and can be ordered in a range of natural or coloured finishes.

- Seat height: 47 cm.
- Finishes: Natural ash, natural oak, yellow ash, dark red ash, blue ash, white ash, grey ash, and black ash.
