The Conscious Chair 3162 from Mater re-imagines the original 1958 design by Børge Mogensen and Esben Klint.
Wood and coffee bean waste remnants are cleverly repurposed through the use of Mater's innovative technology, by recycling fibre-based wood and plastic waste. This is the first time that Mogensen's design has been reissued in a different material.
Suitable for indoor use, the seat and back of the Conscious Chair 3162 is made from coffee shell waste mixed with recycled industrial plastic waste. The wood version is crafted from wood waste mixed with upcycled industrial plastic waste and FSC Certified wood is used to create the solid frame of the chair.
Available in three versions; Soaped Oak and Coffee Waste Light, Black Lacquered Beech and Coffee Waste Black or Grey Beech and Wood Waste.
