The Officina Chair brings a new visual language to the ancient process of forging, creating an industrial-style chair with an elegant profile.
The unique geometry of the chair's iron base is shaped using a traditional hammer and anvil, and as such bears its characteristic irregularities and imperfections. In a compelling contrast to this raw process, the seat and back of the Officina Chair are made of industrially produced polypropylene, beech plywood or upholstery.
Combining strong gesture and honest craftsmanship, the Officina Chair is made ultimately delicate by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec's design finesse. Also available is the Officina stool, table and a range of accessories.
