This polygonal table with barrel-like base explores Japanese craft traditions and the characteristics of thinned wood.
Inspired by the joint technique yatoi-sanetsugi, the base of the Colour Wood Low Table is made of individual laths that are connected at an angle to form a round tapered base.
In this version of the table, an understated pink stain allows the natural grain of the chestnut wood to show through. Also available is the Colour Wood Low Table Colour Grid, Colour Wood Low Table Green Grid, Colour Wood Low Table Plain Grid and the Colour Wood Low Table Dark Grid.
