Friso Kramer's Result Chair uses cut sheet steel to create a lightweight, cost-effective yet inherently sturdy form.
First released in 1959, Friso Kramer and Rolf Hay employed an industrial approach in the Result Chair's design, working intelligently with method and material to ensure a chair that would stand the test of time. As such, many of the Result Chair's made throughout the 50s and 60s can still be found in use today.
In collaboration with Ahrend, Hay has reissued the Result Chair for a new generation to enjoy. It is available in a choice of water-based lacquered wood finishes with a distinctive frame in black or beige powder-coated steel. Thanks to its simplicity and strength, it is suited to a wide range of commercial or domestic applications.
