In a contemporary relaunch of a Danish furniture classic, the J110 from Hay is a versatile lounge or dining chair.

Designer Poul Volther's work is rooted in Scandinavian functionalism, having previously held the position of design director at the FDB, or the Danish Consumers’ Co-operative Society. The J110 chair was designed during this time, offering an accessible yet high-quality piece at a relatively low price.

Today the chair retains a timeless aesthetic, with slender wooden rods and gently curved armrests providing a comfortable seat for everyday use. Made of lacquered solid beech wood. The J110 chair is available with a natural finish or a selection of colours; jade-green, sage, slate blue, warm grey, white, black, lacquered oak and oiled oak.
