Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec designed the Can series as a reaction to the modern world's growing need to get things done both quickly and efficiently.
The result is a traditional lounge chair that has been stripped back to a lightweight and accessible piece that can be put together easily at home.
The Can Armchair comes flat-packed with three elements ready for assembly: the foam and feather filled upholstered cushions, a powder-coated steel frame, and a strong canvas sling that brings the two together. When not in use it can be folded away, making it easy to move and transport. The base frame is available in Black powder-coated steel or Chrome finish.
