Designed in 1953 by Mathieu Matégot, Gubi's Satellite Pendant was named as a tribute to French Scientific progress in the years following the Second World War.
This pendant blends geometric formality with organic fluidity to create an entirely unique appearance. The unique bulb of the Satellite is covered by perforated metal to exude an atmospheric light - creating a festive appearance.
Crafted using the Rigitulle folded and perforated metal technique invented by Matégot himself, the lampshade has three colour ways: Midnight Black, White Cloud and Rainy Grey.
- Medium: W.45 x D.45 x H.31.5 cm. Lantern Dia.21.8 cm
- Large: W.57 x D.57 x H.38.4 cm. Lantern Dia.27.2 cm
- Recommended light source: Tubular Type T30 or T9, max. Length 18.5cm (medium version) or 22.5cm (large version), dia.3 cm, Max 60W.
- Cable length: 480cm.
