The Gubi MR01 Initial Chair by Mathias Steen Rasmussen is a handwoven lounge chair with a lightweight appeal.
Conceived by designer and woodworker Rasmussen, the MR01 Initial Chair is expertly crafted from natural materials without the use of a single nail. The lounge chair showcases traditional techniques such as wedged mortise and tenon joints, alongside a handwoven seat and back. The result is a design that is both familiar and contemporary. Ideal in a lounge space or bedroom, the low slung and gentle profile promotes a sense of calm for the sitter.
Made of solid wood and natural linen rope with semi-elastic, anti-deformation core.
