Flaneur is Gubi's reimagining of the nineteenth-century English roll-arm sofa by Danish-Italian design duo GamFratesi.
Known for its undulating profile, taut upholstery, deep seats and low rolled arms, this classic three-seater sofa design has been rediscovered by GamFratesi for a new audience.
The couple added modern appeal with simplified, minimal lines while retaining the elegant 'roll arm' detailing of the original. Generous piped cushions envelop the wooden frame, both sitting atop a sleek linear base.
The carefully formulated combination and layering of springs, foam and
feathers offer comfort. Flaneur is available in a refined array of velvets, fabrics and leathers.
