The Bestlite Table Lamp designed by Robert Dudley Best for Gubi is a timeless lighting design that is just as popular now as it was following its initial production in 1930.

Such is its revered design status that it features in the permanent collections at both the V&A and the Design Museum. Considered by some to be the first British manifestation of Bauhaus, this faithful reissue has retained the industrial feel of its original design and stays true to its roots with an understated selection of colours in powder-coated aluminium and chromed steel.

Much loved by architects and designers throughout its long history, the Bestlite even adorned the desk of Winston Churchill, who reportedly took the lamp with him on his trips around the world.
