Heavily influenced by the designs of Spanish architect Barba Corsini, the Gubi ABC Table Lamp is a modern design with Bauhaus beginnings.
This eye-catching light is a tribute to Corsini's PD2 Floor Lamp, created for the famous landmark La Pedrera in 1955. Corsini transformed the attics of La Pedrera into thirteen apartments, decorated with his own designs inspired by the building itself.
However, in 1991 Corsini's interiors were torn down when it was decided La Pedrera should be restored to its original style. Millet discovered the PD2 Floor Lamp during its renovation and began to collaborate with Corsini, in essence rescuing his work and bringing it into the public eye.
