The Islets table series includes a side table, low coffee table and dining table that work as a set and as separate elements. The name Islets takes inspiration from Copenhagen's Christianshavn district which contains several small man-made islands structurally supported by a foundation of oak pillars.
The series sculptural minimalism is the calling card of designer Maria Bruun, her pieces seek to balance a visually light aesthetic with a strong presence in a setting.
Islets are crafted from solid oak with a natural light oil finish; a material known for its warmth and durability.
