The original Taraxacum pendant lights were designed by Achille Castiglioni and his brother Piercomo for Flos in the 1960s. The series made use of innovative resin spinning techniques to create a futuristic yet organic form.
This version, the Taraxacum 88 ceiling and wall light was designed in the late 1980s and reverts to the most simplistic of geometric arrangements. A series of triangles are linked to create a support for a series of globe bulbs. The result is a timeless design that celebrates pure form and light itself.
The Taraxacum Ceiling and Wall light provides direct and reflected light. The structure is formed by 5 pressed polished aluminium triangles and holds 15 bulbs.
