Together with the help of his son Frank and grandson Max Herre, the near-forgotten designs by Richard Herre have been re-introduced by e15; the Zet Kilim reflecting the mood of the 1920s with its graphic and eye-catching colour combinations.
Herre was known for his exceptional use of colour, having worked as an architect and interior designer, and producing numerous designs for textile firm Pausa. The Kilim Zet was designed specifically for the Max Taut Weissenhof house, the compelling designs capturing the essence of 1920s New Objectivity.
The hand-spun carpet is made from sheep wool and produced in a socially and environmentally responsible manner by a family-owned business.
Also from the Richard Herre Collection is the Stuttgart Chair and the Stuttgart Chair Cane Version.
