A development of the concept behind the acclaimed Houdini Chair, Diez has minimised its components while maintaining the same dynamic appeal. In That Lounge Chair, a plywood shell is curved around a solid wood bracket to create a well-proportioned and comfortable piece, equally at home in the lounge or office.
Growing up in a household of 4th-generation carpenters, Diez's work is heavily informed by the materials of his craft as is evidenced in his innovative constructions.
That Chair is available in an Oak veneer with clear natural lacquer or oak veneer colour-lacquered in Jet Black, Umbra Grey and Traffic Grey.
