Designed in 1951, the Calvert table is one of the earliest examples of flat-packed furniture, reflecting a societal change in the expectations of our homes and furnishings.
A prime example of Kramer's vision, it features a straightforward and functional design that is easily inverted and collapsed. Comprised of two intersecting plywood sheets and a top measuring 1.2 cm thick, each component is cut out of a single sheet.
While simplistic in form, the angular cut outs of the base reveal a sculptural quality. With an eye-catching selection of colours, the Calvert table is a statement piece suited to a diverse range of environments. Delivered in three pieces.
Available in Oak veneer with a clear lacquer, or coloured lacquer in Signal White, Jet Black or Mint.
