Mario Marenco (b.1933) is a prominent architect and designer known for his originality and creative vision. After earning a degree in architecture from the University of Naples, he pursued further studies at the Scandinavian School of Design in Stockholm, a formative period that deeply influenced his design philosophy. Marenco gained substantial experience working for various architectural and design firms before founding his own atelier, Studio DEGW, in Rome in 1960. His architectural work, complemented by teaching stints at the University of Sydney, showcased his innovative approach and collaboration with companies like B&B Italia, Arflex, and Poltrona Frau.
