French architect and designer Léonard Kadid has a studio based in Paris. His work focuses on simplification of form and structural experimentation. Kadid is particularly interested in the intrinsic characteristics of matter.
Kadid studied at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland and the École d'Architecture de la Ville et des Territoires in Paris. His studio has collaborated with respected architecture practices Herzog & De Meuron and Caesar Zumthor. As a product designer, he is best known here in the UK for his work with New Zealand design brand Resident.
