Florian Asche
Originally trained as a tailor Asche applies the rigorous approach of his schooling to his furniture designs.
Born in Germany in 1963, designer Florian Asche began his career as a tailor's apprentice in Frankfurt before moving to London to study product design at Central Saint Martins.
In 1995 Asche co-founded the design brand e15 Furniture with his friend Philipp Mainzer serving as managing director followed by sales until 2006. Asche then left to pursue a solo venture as a product designer. The resulting company Asche + Unkelbach partnered with April Allterior furniture and continue to produce contemporary outdoor furniture from their base in Frankfurt to this day.
