After graduating together with Masters degrees in Architecture from the Royal College of Art, Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby founded their eponymous studio in 2006.
Since then the duo have designed countless products including the Olympic torch for the London 2012 games. BarberOsgerby works in a research-led way, believing the best results come from experimentation and collaboration with other experts in the field.
In the field of furniture and lighting design, Barber and Osgerby have worked with leading brands including Flos, Vitra and Knoll. Recently, the duo have been focusing on the idea of sustainable, cyclical design, a concept realised in their 'On and On' series for American design brand Emeco.
