Auckland based Cheshire Architects work across urbanism, architecture, project management, interior, furniture, graphic and packaging design. Founded by Pip and Nat Cheshire in 2004, the practice now employs over 25 architects and designers.
Their clients are diverse spanning both the public and private sector. Projects include Auckland’s Q Theatre; the development of the City Works Depot; The Mountain Landing peninsula and its luxury lodges and a host of hospitality spaces.
For this practice every project is bespoke, and they use their wide-ranging expertise to create unique solutions for their clients.
Their best-known product design is the Parison pendant light developed for fellow New Zealand furniture brand Resident. It shows the same care and respect for detail and materials as their architectural output.
