A carefully crafted palette of textures and tones define this 4 storey Victorian mansion by Studio Skey
A carefully crafted palette of textures and tones define this 4 storey Victorian mansion by Studio Skey
Designers Georgina Key and Sophie Scott of Studio Skey have delivered a new sense of richness and composure to this charming Victorian terrace. Located in the North-West London area of Queens Park, the interior of the property has been transformed through its restoration of original features and complementary furniture choices.
The refined design of the property features characterful additions such as wall mouldings, cornicing and stylish architraves to enhance the elevated ceilings and generously proportioned rooms.
In keeping with the client's preference of a muted palette, Studio Skey favoured timeless furnishings combined with textural elements. In the living room, the Little Petra Lounge Chair from &Tradition sits alongside a tailored sofa and sculptural travertine coffee table.
Curated materials of dark stained wood, natural stone and metals tastefully attribute to the warm and inviting space, elegantly blending the original architecture with a contemporary kitchen extension on the ground floor.
