The Carl Hansen & Son MG501 Cuba Chair offers comfort and portability with no compromise in design.
The Cuba Chair with webbed seat is a classic Scandinavian design, created in 1997 by self-taught designer Morten Gøttler. Retaining the original's delicate balance of form and function, this later version of the MG501 Cuba Chair uses a flexible paper cord that is woven in the characteristic Carl Hansen style. The result gives a lighter, more refined aesthetic.
Fully foldable, this Carl Hansen lounge chair can be easily stored when not in use. It works equally well in multiples for social occasions, or, solo for reflective moments.
- Frame: solid oiled oak (Soaped version available upon request, email [email protected] for details).
- Seat: woven natural paper cord.
- Overall dimensions: W.61 x D.79 x H.76 cm.
- Seat height: 39 cm.
