Made from solid Danish ash wood with saddle leather arms and leg straps, the Safari Chair is easy to put together and take apart without the use of tools, in one of the first examples of self-assembly furniture.
The seat and back are available in natural canvas or leather, while the frame boasts a clever construction that tightens when the chair is occupied for enhanced strength and stability. The seat cushion offered is without buttons.
Designed in 1933, it is Kaare Klint's most recognisable piece with over one hundred thousand chairs sold.
