A practical expression of Borge Mogensen's strong affection for wood, the Hunting Table was originally designed in 1950.
Created for the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Guild Furniture Exhibition, it explores the theme of the 'Hunting Cabin', spawning other classic designs such as Mogensen's Hunting Chair. This round-edged table employs signature mortise and tenon joints and diagonal braces that accentuate its handcrafted appeal.
Organic and inviting, the Hunting Table draws on classic aesthetics with a strong functionality found throughout Danish design. It is an ideal complement to Carl Hansen's range of mid-century side chairs, making a versatile piece for everyday use.
