Its architectural aesthetic conceals a cleverly made solid beech wood base, showcasing Wegner's keen understanding of ergonomics and providing excellent neck and back support. It sits on top of hand-polished stainless steel legs which are slightly higher on the front, creating an ideal pitch.

The chair's outline is meticulously hand stitched in a process which takes several hours to complete, paying homage to the insightful craftsmanship of the original design.
