Part of Hans Wegner's debut collection for Carl Hansen almost seventy years ago, the CH25 Lounge Chair has remained in production ever since.
Modest yet distinctive, Wegner's vision was to create a chair using paper cord, which at the time of its design in the 50s was considered a mere substitute material. An enduring symbol of comfort and craftsmanship, the seat and back takes a skilled artisan around ten hours and 4000 cm of paper cord to weave. A lightweight and elegant lounge chair, the CH25 is a Danish Modern classic.
- Solid wood frame in soaped oak, oiled oak or oiled walnut.
- Hand woven natural paper cord seat and back.
