Lambert & Fils

Montreal based design studio create sleek, poetic lighting that nods to the canon of art, design and architectural history.

Lambert and Fils is the brainchild of former film editor and visual artist Sam Lambert. Sam made the switch to lighting design after the birth of his son, as a nod to his own father who was a potter by trade.

The company began as a small street shop in the Beaubien district, the studio has since expanded to include other like-minded local designers who share a passion for sleek, poetic lighting inspired by design, art and architectural history.

Known in particular for the geometric globe pendants of the Laurent Series as well as their Waldorf Suspension Light. All Lambert & Fils collections continue to be designed, manufactured and assembled in Montreal.
