Originally part of a commission for Helsinki's Savoy Restaurant in 1937, the Golden Bell Pendant Light was designed by acclaimed Finnish architect Alvar Aalto.

Light played a huge part in Aalto's work and was a central part of the whole that formed his architectural vision. As such, the design of the A330S Pendant was considered down to the finest detail. The Golden Bell earns its nickname from the shade's fluid lines, in an elegant shape that translates seamlessly into the contemporary.

Offering a direct downward light ideal for placing over tables, the hand-turned shade has a perforated rim that further enhances the A330S's warm glow. Originally only produced in Brass, it is now also offered in Black, White and Chrome for a more understated aesthetic. Each shade aside from the Savoy edition is painted white on the inside for a greater diffusion of light with minimal glare.
