Sami Kallio's woodworking expertise is evident in the In Between Chair's considered selection of techniques.
The seat and side panels have been form-pressed from wood veneer, creating a light and thin surface that is deceptively strong, while the solid legs have been woodturned, a highly skilled task that provides greater detail.
The In Between Chair's elements work together to create a compelling interplay of positive and negative space, creating a visually light object with Kallio's trademark eye for detail.
