Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl for 101 Copenhagen, Foku is a striking upholstered lounge chair that stands out in any setting.
Inspired by the traditional rake tools that have been used in Japanese Zen gardens for centuries, Foku means fork in Japanese. A series of simple geometric shapes repeated to form a sculptural piece resembling gentle lines and waves created by forks in Zen gardens.
To ensure a soft and highly comfortable seating experience, several layers of foam have been combined to emphasise the sculptural silhouette of the chair.
The Foku Lounge Chair is offered online in Off-White Bouclé and Pallazo 163 upholstery.
